The late Bernard Hertzberg commenced practising as a sole practitioner in 1939, after graduating from Sydney University with a Bachelor of Economics degree. In 1975, after spending two years with Price Waterhouse in Sydney, William Yong formed a partnership with Mr Hertzberg, signifying the birth of Hertzberg Yong & Co.

The practice has continued to grow, providing a wide range of services to small-medium and middle-market businesses and individuals in Australia and overseas, as well as servicing Self Managed Superannuation Funds.
